I came to this work through watching the people I love go through the medical system and come out the other side without real answers. They were given medications and procedures β but nobody ever looked at the basics. What they were eating. How they were sleeping. How they were living day to day. I started looking for what was missing. That search led me to ancestral nutrition and functional health β and along the way, to the wisdom of Ayurveda. I have been studying and applying this work ever since.
And then my own body gave me a reason to go even deeper.
I was in perimenopause without even knowing the word. I had never heard of it. I had no idea this was a specific life stage with specific needs. I just thought my body was how my body was.
At the same time I had been eating a plant-based diet for several years. No junk food. No processed food. Whole foods only. I thought I was doing everything right. I was bloated most days. I hit a wall every afternoon and reached for more fruit to get through it β then crashed even harder an hour later. I was losing muscle and thought I just needed to work out more. I never connected it to what I was eating.
The brain fog surprised me most β because I did not know I had it while I was living with it. It felt completely normal. I only saw it clearly after it lifted. When my thinking became sharp and fast again, I finally understood how slow it had been before.
My gums were also receding. I had great oral hygiene. Six dentists told me I was brushing too hard. Not one asked about my hormones or my diet. I spent nearly $1,500 trying to get answers. I eventually learned that estrogen plays a direct role in the health of gum tissue β and that the hormonal changes of perimenopause can affect how that tissue responds. I know this now. Nobody told me then.
The fatigue, the muscle loss, the brain fog, the bloating, the gum recession β it was all connected. To perimenopause. To years of eating in a way that left my body short on what it needed most. Even though I was trying. Even though I thought I was doing everything right.
When I finally understood what was happening and changed how I was eating and living, things shifted fast. Muscle came back. The fog lifted. The afternoon crashes stopped. My best friend noticed before I did β he told me I was moving differently. He was right.

I am already working with my doctor. Can I still do this program?
Yes. This program focuses on food, sleep, movement, stress, and daily habits. None of that conflicts with medical care. Many women in this program continue to see their doctors throughout. If your doctor has recommended a specific treatment, keep following that guidance. This program works alongside your medical care β not instead of it.
I am currently on HRT or bioidentical HRT. Is this program still relevant for me?
Yes. Whether you are on conventional HRT or bioidentical HRT, this program is fully compatible with what you are doing. Hormonal therapy addresses your hormone levels directly. This program addresses the conditions that determine how well your whole body functions alongside that β what you eat, how you sleep, how you handle stress, and how your daily rhythm supports your hormonal health. Your body still needs a strong nutritional and lifestyle foundation regardless of which hormonal approach you are using. The two work well together.
I have tried other things before and they did not work. Why would this be different?
That is a fair question. Most approaches address one piece at a time β a supplement, a diet change, a single habit. This program addresses every relevant system at the same time, in the right order, tailored to you. The frameworks this program draws from β ancestral nutrition, functional health principles, and Ayurveda β have supported women navigating exactly what you are navigating, across thousands of years of application. The difference is the depth, the sequence, and the fact that you are not doing it alone.
My symptoms are uncomfortable but I am managing. Is this really for me?
Only you can answer that. What I will say is this: the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause are signals. They tend to be easier to address earlier β before they compound and before the effects on bone, muscle, and metabolism become more significant. If you are managing but you are not feeling like yourself, that is worth taking seriously.
I travel a lot and have a very full schedule. Can I realistically follow this program?
Yes. The weekly emails and videos can be read or watched from anywhere. The calls are scheduled around your calendar. The actions each week are practical and designed to fit into a real life β not to pile onto an already full one. What the program does ask for is your genuine engagement each week, wherever you are in the world.
What if I fall behind or miss a week?

Do you offer functional lab work as part of this program?
Not at this stage. The program is grounded entirely in nutrition and lifestyle β ancestral nutrition, functional health principles, and Ayurveda β applied together in a specific sequence. This approach is highly valuable on its own and does not require lab work. Lab testing may become available as part of an expanded offering in the future.
